Pilgrimage to Rome Assisi and Medjugorje 11 DAYS TOURS February 15 - 25, 2010

Day 1 - USA - Rome Departure from your city, overnight flight to Italy and Rome, meals served on board of the plane.

Day 2 - Rome We will arrive at the Rome airport to start of our Christian Tour of Rome this afternoon. First on our schedule today is Holy Mass at St. Mary Major Basilica. *Time permitting* we will visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, it is the Cathedral of Rome and it was the Papal residence from the 5th Century until the papacy departed to Avignon in France. Across the street we will visit the Holy Staircase (Scala Sancta) actual stairs that Jesus Christ walked on the day he went to Pilate. We will end our day at our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Rome - Ancient and Eternal Early this morning we will go to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Domitilla Catacombs continue your tour of Rome cruising by bus and on foot seeing and passing by Piazza Venezia, with King Victor Emanuel II monument, Imperial forums (Caesar, Augustus, Trajan). At the end of the tour some free time by the Pantheon for shopping before dinner and rest in our hotel.

Day 4 - Vatican General Audience - Assisi Today we have an early breakfast to be on time for the General Audience with Pope Benedict XVI at the St. Peter's Square. Following will be a visit to the Vatican Museums where we will see art masterpieces of Michelangelo, Bernini.... We will walk through Geographical maps Gallery, Sistine Chapel with the magnificent fresco of The Last Judgment. Today is also our visit to the heart of Vatican State, St. Peter's Basilica and Square dedicated to the same saint. Late afternoon group will leave Rome and head towards Assisi. Day 5 - Assisi We begin our morning in Assisi with the walking tour of the Town of Peace, visiting the major sites associated with St. Francis and St. Claire the founder of Poor Claire's, basilica of St. Francis and the Church of St. Claire. We will also visit down in the valley basilica of the Holy Mary of Angels and Porziuncola, one of three restored churches by young Francis nowadays embraced by the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels.

Day 6 - Assisi - Medjugorje In the morning after the holy mass at the Santa Maria degli Angeli which embraces Porziuncola group will leave for the Fumicino airport, flight to Croatia. You will arrive at the Split or Dubrovnik, Republic Croatia. Here all our groups meet our JeriCo Christian Journeys guide. Transfer to Medjugorje is along the most beautiful coastline in the world, the Adriatic Sea Coast. Tonight you are in Medjugorje for your dinner and overnight.

Day 7, 8, 9, 10 - Medjugorje program On your first day after breakfast our local English-speaking guide will give an orientation walk from your hotel to the Church St. James. Group will stay in Medjugorje village and will be able to hear the talks given by Franciscans from St. James Parish of Medjugorje, join thousands pilgrims from all over the world at the Holy Mass, you will climb the Apparition Hill place of the apparition of Our Lady in Medjugorje. In 1933 parish of Medjugorje had built big concrete cross on the Crossmountain, mountain that you will climb praying the Way of the Cross. Daily English speaking Holy Mass at 10:00 am . Messages that Our Lady - QUEEN OF PEACE has been giving here is the foundation for the evening program. It is a program that consists of prayer of three Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, Holy Mass, Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament, Prayer for the Healing, and blessing of the religious objects. Day 11 - Medjugorje - flight to the U.S. Today early in the morning you will leave Medjugorje. After the breakfast transfer to International Airport in Split for your flight back home to US.
