PLANNING YOUR TRIP - We in JeriCo Christian Journeys will assist you in creating a pilgrimage to any Christian site you wish to visit and make sure it fits your budget. To save money we suggest a package tour pilgrimage. A typical package includes round-trip airfare, accommodations, sightseeing's, taxes, mass scheduled daily, tips and a variety of other features.

LUGGAGE - When you have finished packing, place a copy of your itinerary with dates and addresses inside each bag. Don't carry valuables, medications or flammable materials inside your checked luggage. Check your suitcase through to your final destination if possible and never leave luggage unattended. Security at the airports nowadays is strict when it comes to packages and bags that "belong" to nobody.
Only a very small percentage of luggage is lost or misplaced by airlines, but if this does happen to you, we will help you to file a formal claim with the airline immediately, before leaving the airport. You will have to list the lost items, including date of purchase and cost. Keep the claim form, baggage check and ticket until you get reimbursed. Remember to pack a change of clothes and your basic toiletries in a carry-on bag just in case.

PASSPORT - If you are travelling outside the United States, you will need a valid passport. You should apply for it several months before you plan to leave. U.S. passports are valid for 10 years. Ask us for information about where and how to apply for a passport locally. Some countries also require a visa before you can enter. We will see that you are informed where and on which of our pilgrimages you need visa. Check with us or the local embassy or consulate of the country to which you are travelling.
A good idea is to get extra sets of your passport photos for visa applications and your international driver's permit...and remember, never pack your passport in your luggage. Carry it in a place where it is accessible at all times!
